The Society Incorporated
Harbor City Maryland Chapter was chartered by 17 progressive women in lovely Prince Georges County, Maryland in 2017. We are among the many chapters of The Society, Incorporated “Supporting Youth in the Arts”, a national organization with 35 years of history.
Our mission is a singular focus to support and assist youth development in the arts in our community. We are committed to excellence in what we do and achieve. The chapter members are committed to giving their Time, Talent and Treasures on a platform of friendship.
As the chapter chartering president it is with much pride we have established two key partnerships with organizations that offer development in the arts to youth across the county.
We are proud and honored to partner in the arts for the youth with Prince Georges County NAACP chapter of ACT-SO and Coalition for African Americans in Performing Arts (CAPPA).
Since embracing these significant partnerships we have awarded scholarships, aided in program and performance support, coaching and more!
We are true believers in collaboration and partnership to help build capacity and resources to support programs. It is our desire to reach out, connect, support and enjoy youth excelling in the arts!
